We finally made a race that wasn’t rained out. We ran at Kokomo Speedway on Sunday. We had some issues early. We switched to a 4bbl and the valve covers didn’t fit. Had to change belts and several other tasks to get ready to race. I missed the drivers meeting. The car was EXTREMELY tight in the heat. Loosened it up for the feature, but not enough. Several people were telling me I was carrying my front left half way down the straight-aways. After almost flipping the car, I was nosed out of 5th place by about 2 feet…. No damage and had fun. Can’t wait for Saturday…
