Hi! Welcome to Daugherty Racing! We are a racing team based in Lafayette, Indiana We currently run in the UMP Street Stock class.
Lon, Bobby, Chet, and I pulled the racecar out of the trailer last night. We changed the oil and tightened the throwout bearing on the transmission. We made approximately 14 adjustments to the car to get the weight distribution where we wanted it. I think we may have something here…. It’s time to try our engineering on the track. Saturday night @ Kamp Motor Speedway!
Michael is the driver for the Daugherty Racing Team. Michael graduated from Purdue with a Bachelor of Science in
Electrical Engineering in 2001, received his Professional Engineer License in 2007, and graduated with his Masters in Business Administration from Purdue in December 2009.
